Operations Coordinator

CASE is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator who can manage the day-to-day administrative functions of our organization. While employed by CASE, the Operations Coordinator will also provide administrative services for one of our partner organizations, the hospitality workers union UNITE HERE Local 631.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer phones and be the first point of contact in our office
Prepare board meeting documents
Coordinate logistics for occasional special events
Process payroll and expense reports, pay bills, make bank deposits, perform basic bookkeeping and reconcile bank accounts. We use Quickbooks to maintain our financial records. Prior knowledge is helpful, but not essential if you have good general computer skills and an ability to quickly learn new software applications
HR services for office and field staff — maintain employee records, including paperwork for new hires and time-off requests
Produce an annual operation budget for review, as well as monthly profit and loss reports including a budget vs. actual snapshot
Work with our accountants to prepare tax returns and other annual and quarterly reports
Maintain the physical office space and serve as the point person for all vendors
Procure and maintain office equipment and supplies, including computers
Coordinate technical support
Create and maintain office files
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

Two years accounting, payroll, clerical, and/or HR experience (equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Good oral and written communication skills
Excellent accuracy and computation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in QuickBooks
Bachelor Degree
Bilingual in Spanish and English
