Latino electorate growing in Phoenix

November 13, 2013 -- Partnership for Working Families

Last Tuesday night CASE was part of making history in the City of Phoenix as Latino voters once again made their voices heard in City Council elections.

Since helping to form the One Arizona Latino Voter Engagement Roundtable in 2010, CASE and its One Arizona partners have worked a non-partisan program to increase participation among low-efficacy voters in the densely Latino neighborhoods of south and west Phoenix. Latino vote share has continued to grow in these neighborhoods, transforming politics in the City.

CASE and its allies are organizing to capitalize on the new politics by winning meaningful policies that will raise standards for working families in Phoenix and across Arizona.
