Leslie Moody, Executive Director of the Partnership for Working Families, will join Bob King, president of the United Auto Workers, as a keynote speaker for the annual policy conference this Saturday, June 8.
The 2013 Michigan Summit will focus on threats to Michigan's democratic foundation, middle class families, and how activists can mobilize and make connections for change.
The Partnership model embraces the notion that if we work together, we can create positive change in our own communities. Leslie will be highlighting some of the inspiring work of Partnership affiliates in cities across the country that create high quality, family-supporting jobs, encourage accoutable development and better our cities.
